Various incubation tests & iteration works during my time at Hi-Rez. I have introduce Substance Designer into the pipeline to help speed up iteration with both the texturing & materials prototypes. By inputting a normal, ambient occlusion, and height map, one can quickly pump out ready-to-use maps for UDK. Nodes come complete with exposed parameters to quickly change colors, specularity, normal details, and fake diffuse lighting.
